GAME DAY PROTOCOLS

All game day protocols are requirements of WYSA Return to play

 

Recommended Soccer Bag Items for Players

  • Shin guards
  • Cleats
  • Clean Face Mask
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Labeled Water Bottles
  • Personal, Labeled Soccer Ball
     

Preparing for Participation

  • Parents are required to RSVP for player’s attendance for all Games in SportsEngine. If attendance status changes for the player, parent is required to update the player’s RSVP status
  • Prepare and pack your water bottle for training.
    • Players are NOT to share water bottles
    • Clearly mark your name on your water bottle.
  • Get dressed at home in your game gear so that you can arrive at the game site ready to play.
  • Players are recommended to pack and bring personal sanitizing supplies, including hand sanitizers. Sanitizing materials should be clearly marked and not shared.
  • If player has a fever,  showing covid symptoms do not go to game.

GAME PROTOCOLS

  • Parents are required to RSVP for player’s attendance for all Games in SportsEngine. If attendance status changes for the player, parent is required to update the player’s RSVP status
  • Masks are encouraged but are not required.
    • Please note that some municipalities may require masks. Players and Families are to follow the municipalities covid guidelines for away games. 
  • Limit number of spectators at match if possible. No specific limits are set by WYSA however SCORe, as a privately owned facility, is asking that families keep spectators to 4 adults per player. 
  • Social distancing on sidelines of 6 feet
  • If spectator has a fever or showing covid symptoms do not go to game.

The following requirements are set by the WYSA as part of WYSA's Return to Play for Fall 2020/Spring 2021.  These are statewide requirements set in place by the state soccer governing body.

  • Prepare and pack your water bottle for training.

    • Players are NOT to share water bottles
    • Clearly mark your name on your water bottle.
  • Get dressed at home in your training gear so that you can arrive at the training site ready to play.
  • Players are recommended to pack and bring to training personal sanitizing supplies, including hand sanitizers. Sanitizing materials should be clearly marked and not shared.

PLAYER COVID SYMPTOMS RESPONSIBILITY INFORMATION

  • If a player has a temperature of 100.4° or higher they are required to stay home
  • If player has any flulike symptoms such as a cough, nausea, headache, body aches, chills, Player is required to stay home and consider being tested if symptoms persist
  • If exposed/direct contact to known COVID case, player should abstain from team activities until tested and negative results received. This could be up to 14 days.
  • If player suspects they have COVID, player is required to refrain from team activities until negative test received. This may take up to 14 days.

Parent/Spectator

  • If parent/spectator is exhibiting COVID Symptoms or has tested positive for COVID they are to refrain from attending all practices and games until negative test recevied.

  • Was your player tested - include the date
  • Last date of contact with your team
