RASA makes every attempt to play games as scheduled. Unfortunately, sometimes the weather will have other plans. 

RAIN 

RASA will cancel games if: 

• field conditions are not in playable conditions 

• and/or temperatures are dangerously cold

• We may cancel the games of younger ages but not the games for older ages, depending on the temperatures.

TEMPERATURE

RASA will assess the temperatures and determine to cancel by age. We also take into account additional weather conditions, such as if it is cold and raining. 

• We may cancel the games of younger ages, but not the games for older ages. 

• We will cancel for dangerous temperatures – severe windchill or dangerous heat indexes per NATA guidelines

RESCHEDULING OF CANCELED GAMES 

FALL SEASON: 

• RASA will reschedule 1 game cancelation during the season, if the original game was scheduled prior to the second weekend of October. 

• RASA will not reschedule game cancelations for games originally scheduled after the second full week of October

• All additional game cancelations after the 1st cancelation will not be rescheduled. 

SPRING SEASON:

• RASA will reschedule 1 game cancelation during the season, if the original game was scheduled on or prior to Mother’s Day. 

• RASA will not reschedule game cancelations for games originally scheduled after Mother's Day.

• All additional game cancelations after the 1st cancelation will not be rescheduled. 

RESCHEDULE PROCESS:

• U9-U14 teams –Game will be rescheduled for a weekend if possible, otherwise it will be rescheduled for a weeknight. Teams may play a double header (2 games in one day). Teams will have at least a 1 game block break between games. 

• U5-U8 teams – The first attempt will be to find an available weekend day for both teams. If an available weekend day cannot be found for both teams, the game will be rescheduled for a weekday. The game will be scheduled by RASA.

NO-SHOW TEAMS

The team that does not show for a game will forfeit the game. The game will not be rescheduled. Teams that are repeat offender will be broken up for the upcoming soccer year. 

There are no refunds or credits/discounts for future seasons due to game cancelations.
