Requests are only valid for ONE year.  

 

TEAM & FRIEND

Returning players are guaranteed a spot on their previous team ONLY if registration is completed* before July 31, 2023 11:59PM. 

Specific team/coach requests and Friend requests are filled based on the date registration has been completed*. 

Once team rosters are filled, requests will not be honored. 

*Completed Registration is the date the registration AND full payment is submitted.

• If registering online and paying online, Completed Registration is the date registration and online payment is made. Payment must be valid in order for registration to be valid.
• If registering online but paying by mail-in check, Completed Registration date is the date in which payment is received by RASA. Payment must be valid in order for registration to be valid.
• If registering by Mail-In Registration Form, Completed Registration is the date in which RASA receives the registration form AND full payment. Valid Payment must be included with the registration. 
• If applying for Financial Aid, Completed Registration is the date in which RASA receives Registration Form, Financial Aid Form, all required supporting documents, and your portion of the fees. 

 

PLAY UP REQUEST

To request your child to play up an age division you must send a written request at the time of your registration to  carissawentorf@rasasoccer.com 

Please include your player's full name, date of birth, team request, and reason for wanting to play up with your request. 

Your requests may be approved only if your child's birth date falls within 6 months of the age division you wish to play up with.  Birth certificate for proof of age may be required.

PLEASE NOTE: If you fail to place your request in writing to registration when you register, your player will be automatically placed in their proper age division. Movement off of a team to be moved up an age division after roster announcements have been released will not be made. 

 

PLAY DOWN REQUEST

RASA does not allow for a player to play down an age division except for very limited and special circumstances.

If you wish your player to play down an age division, you must email RASA prior to registering providing your player's full name, date of birth, grade in school, and the reason you would like them to play down. Documented proof of reason may be requested by RASA to help us approve your request. 

Reason to play with friends is not a valid reason.

 

GIRLS PLAYING IN BOYS DIVISION

Players on teams entering the U9 division will be divided up between the separate Girl / Boy Divisions. RASA will keep the players of the same gender from the teams together when building teams. 

You must make the request in writing at the time of your registration to carissawentorf@rasasoccer.com. 

The boys team you request must be in the proper age division based on your daughter's birth date.

If roster space within the boys division is limited and the roster spot is needed for a male player within that boys age division, the roster spot will go to the male player and your daughter will be placed in the girls division. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you fail to place your request in writing to registration when you register, your daughter will be automatically placed on a girls team. Movement off of the girls team and onto the boys team after roster announcements have been released will not be made.
